Schiftr is a social network for people who love running or cycling. The app was designed to fill a gap in the market — until then, there wasn’t a platform that combined photo and video sharing, event promotion, and access to professionals who work with runners and cyclists, whether they’re amateurs or pros. In addition to sharing photos and highlights from their training routines, users can explore a national, international, and local event calendar based on their location, and even register for events directly through the app. They also get access to special offers and a marketplace tailored specifically for them. Schiftr is a complete, immersive platform for running and cycling enthusiasts.

Branding + UX/UI Design:
6-month contract
6-month contract
From the start, I was hired to take on both roles: as a graphic designer to rebrand the company by creating a new logo and visual identity, and as a UX/UI designer to rebuild the previously unreleased version of the app from the ground up. The entire project was set up as a six-month contract, during which I managed to design both an MVP and a full-version app.
The logo and full branding embody the spirit of movement at the heart of the sport — modern, dynamic, and full of energy. The app was designed to be clean, easy on the eyes, and effortless to navigate, even on that quick break to rehydrate while on the road. Simplicity, fluidity, and complete functionality come together to make Schiftr much more than just another niche social media app. It’s an experience built for the rhythm of an active life.

The new MVP went live fairly quickly, and updated versions — fully integrating the user interface and new features — will follow the development schedule and are already planned to be rolled out to the public over time.
