From the start, the creators of the platform had a clear vision: to build an integrated solution tailored for corporations. Whether it meant dispatching a single executive sedan or coordinating fleets of vans and buses, the goal was to cover every executive commuting need seamlessly. At its core, Hapidus would act as a trusted "middleman," connecting transport companies, individuals, and businesses under one platform. It's similar to Uber — but designed specifically for the demands of high-end executive travel. With features like armored vehicles and security teams, Hapidus offers not just transportation, but peace of mind, especially in a country like Brazil, where safety is a constant consideration.
Branding + UX/UI Design:
6-month contract
Being hired as both Graphic and UX/UI Designer made the design process much smoother. With full control over branding and the product design, I ensured a cohesive visual identity throughout the platform. The Hapidus logo is a stylized hourglass formed from the lowercase “h” and “d” — a visual nod to time and speed, the top concerns for corporate transport. Even the name “Hapidus” plays on the Portuguese word rápido, meaning fast.
One of the biggest design challenges was keeping the user experience fluid, despite offering a wide range of service personalization options. To solve this, I introduced the idea of a landing-page “widget” — a central interface element that allowed users to set up 95% of their transport requests quickly and intuitively, using clear visuals and streamlined choices. It became the heart of the experience, combining simplicity with power.
End User + Service Provider
As the middleman, Hapidus needed to provide tools for both ends, giving final users an easy way to request services, and allowing providers to register their vehicles, drivers, and detailed information. To meet these needs, my deliverables included designing both the end-user platform and the service provider portal, complete with features for tracking requests, dispatching rides, and managing invoicing.
Hapidus was born from a joint venture between executive transportation companies and a hedge fund investment group. After completing the full design phase and beginning development, the project's release was ultimately postponed.
