Imagine returning home at 10:00 PM after a long workday. Your dog greets you at the door, but your partner is already asleep. Has the dog peed since 3:15 PM? Did anyone feed him dinner?
Single pet owners face a similar struggle during daily walks. Handling a leash with one hand while pulling out a phone to navigate complex menus is clumsy and leads to skipped updates.
On the professional side, a dog walker managing ten dogs from ten different owners during an afternoon walk faces extreme friction. Jumping across separate client profiles to log rapid updates leads to missed entries and delayed updates to owners.

Pawtty Pro Groups - Dog sitters and walkers can group pets from different owners into a single active walk or session like Monday Walk. This removes the hassle of jumping between different client profiles while managing multiple dogs.
Detailed History and Timeline - Tapping the magnifying glass on any pet card opens their full activity history. Caregivers can filter by specific actions like Walk, Eat, Pee, or Poop, add notes and photos, or fix the time if they forgot to log an event earlier.
Custom Events (Coming Soon) - Users will be able to create custom events like Meds, Threw Up, or Played. This keeps specialized health and activity updates just as fast to log as daily routines.
In App Chat and Access Control - Caregivers can chat directly inside a shared pet profile so notes stay organized in one place. Primary owners stay in full control and can remove a sitter's access in one tap.

Frictionless 2-Step Event Logging - Routine tracking is stripped down to an immediate 2-step micro-interaction: tap the routine icon (Walk, Eat, Poop, Pee), then tap “OK” to confirm. No mandatory text fields, no nested sub-menus, and zero extra friction during busy outdoor walks.
The Dynamic 60-Minute Red Signal - Standard timestamps require mental math ("It's 8:30 PM, the card says 7:40 PM..."). To eliminate cognitive overhead, Pawtty introduces a bold red recency indicator on card stacks and watchOS buttons. For 60 minutes, any caregiver opening the app instantly knows an action just happened, zero math required. After an hour, the dot automatically expires.
Care tracking should not require cognitive effort. We engineered a high-contrast visual symbol system for Pawtty’s core daily routines (Walked, Ate, Pooped and Peed) built for instant outdoor legibility in full sunlight or late night walks.
By leveraging AI-assisted development workflows, I translated Figma interaction tokens directly into cross-platform React Native code for mobile and native Swift for watchOS, totally cutting traditional developer-handoff friction out of the loop.
